Myrtle Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Myrtle Beach, SC last week. We met up with Andy's brother Jason and his family. The kids had a blast with their cousins playing in the ocean, digging in the sand, and swimming in the pool. On our last day we went on a dolphin adventure cruise, which was really cool. There was some time when the boat was sitting still in the rocking waves that I thought I might lose my lunch, but then we started moving again and all was well. Here are some pics of our fun times.

Welcome Baby Rachel

Rachel came a little earlier than expected (only 3 weeks after our move...whew!). After a few days, she developed jaundice which brought us back to the children's hospital for some phototherapy (aka baby tanning bed). We had family visiting for about a month after her arrival. So now we're finally getting back to our new normal. Here are some pictures of her first month. What a beautiful blessing!

For Ella's 4th birthday, we decided to just meet a few close friends at the park. We all had a great time!

Family Fun in January

In January, we celebrated Andy's promotion to Major. We had some family come in town for the big event, which was lots of fun.

We're all so proud of Daddy! He gave each of us special gifts at the ceremony. Joshua especially enjoyed his nerf gun.

 

We decided to take our out-of-town family to see some of the local scenic sights. Joshua and Daddy had fun climbing on big rocks.
